The Requirements
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Senior Manager, Learning & Talent Development opportunity, you will have:- A bachelor's degree; a master's is preferred.
- Certification in executive coaching, talent management and/or organizational change management is a plus.

- Proficiency with the administration of learning management systems, as well as with educating and training users.
- Skill in MS Office especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management and development of project plans.
- A basic understanding of budgetary principles.

The Role
Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Management, you will oversee a team of three Learning and Talent Development Partners (training facilitators) and manage the company's LMS (eLogic).You will oversee all aspects of AMN's management and leadership development programs and be highly involved in talent management and succession planning activities across the organization. In addition, you'll manage the annual engagement survey, and design and build all cross-divisional training programs.
Initially, we'll look to you to assess our overall needs and existing programs, and then develop a comprehensive strategy for developing the leaders we'll need as we double in size. More specifically, you will:
- Design and implement a customized leadership development program, in partnership with Human Resources, that is aligned with the company's vision and future strategic business goals.
- Design and develop training programs to support operational strategic plan, business objectives and business growth.
- Ensure all managers understand AMN culture, customer service standards, products and services, and operating systems.
- Establish the fiscal budget for the training department and monitor the department's effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Utilize the company LMS to manage compliance and other training programs and content.
- Lead and develop leadership programs to support company growth.
- Lead talent management and succession management activities for the entire company.
- Lead and manage company engagement surveys.
- Effectively manage your team to ensure certain training metrics are being met.
- Effectively manage external L&TD vendors as needed.
